Here's an opportunity to be a part of this team responsible for excellence -in delivery of the Global Security strategy, ensuring the organization is implementing a risk remediation plan that is clear on outcomes, deliverables, and metrics and highly integrated across the organization.Essential Functions:Oversight of program delivery and ensuring that Agile teams meet their release commitments, assisting with supervising the execution of features, capabilities, and overall delivery healthAlignment with business collaborators, partnering with cross-functional partners, and owning technical execution/successful value delivery.Program level risk/impediment management and team member communication. Applying agile and lean principles, following scrum practices, coaching/training team members on Agile methodology, and continuous improvement to build high performing teams are a key aspect of the role.Bringing clarity to Business, Product and Technology organization about development and growing trust - Leverages tools (e.g. Jira and Confluence) to elicit and define business and technical requirements, track requirements, prioritize features, curate content, sequence deliverables into sprints, and report progress.Working with Product and Solution Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignmentSkillsBuilding great partnerships and relationships with globally distributed cross-functional partners (e.g. Business, Product, Technology, Design, Architecture, Legal, Compliance, et al.)Possesses excellent inter-personal skills with amazing written/verbal communication skills - Customer centric with innovative problem solving skillsExtremely organized, Goal oriented, and experienced in Data analytics as well as Financial budget/Accounting (CapEx/OpEx) principlesLeading the program delivery processAutonomy/Empowerment: Must be able to guide team(s) to self-organizationOpen/Transparent: Must desire to bring disclosure and clarity to both business and technology and build trust amongst partnersConflict resolution: Must be able to facilitate discussion at the team level and suggest alternatives or different approachesContinual improvement: Must continually be growing ones craft learning new tools and techniques to manage oneself and team membersFacilitative: Must be able to lead by example and demonstrate value-add principles to product development scrum team(s)Assertive: Experience with working teams in adhering to Agile/Scrum/Lean concepts and principlesRequired Education and ExperienceBachelor's Degree [Technology preferred] - 10+ years of experience serving as Project Manager/Scrum master's in planning and delivering software solutions, such as online and mobile user experiences, underlying transactional systems, and integrating disparate systems3+years of experience leading program managers, scrum masters, and/or product ownersPortfolio management or process management Certifications [preferred] - PMI, PMI-ACP - Certified Scrum Master (CSM)/ Professional Scrum Master (PSM) - Certified Scrum Product Owner KnowledgePreferred Education and ExperienceExperience facilitating PI Planning readiness by fostering a Continuous Exploration process which drives the synthesis of a Vision, a Roadmap, and Backlogs, and through Pre- and Post-PI Planning meetings. - This will also require facilitation of Agile Release Train (ART) events and processes and assist the teams in delivering value. -Working with Product and Solution Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignmentImproving the flow of value through value streams by improving and assessing the DevOps and Release on Demand competencyKnowledge of compliance requirements and industry standards like PCI, HIPAA, ISO 27001, NIST, CSF, ITIL, COBIT, Sarbanes Oxley and SANS 20 2021 SVB Financial Group.
