We will arm you with the very best tools and tech so that you can deliver top notch results.As the Sr. Director of Vulnerability Management and Analytics, you will report to the Head of Cyber Security Operations and lead the following teams:Vulnerability and Attack Surface Management: work collaboratively with Product and Technology team members to identify, validate, communicate, and track vulnerabilities in SVB assets, applications, and networks. Also responsible for running the vulnerability risk exception process, responsible disclosure, bug bounty, and continuous perimeter assessment programs.Security Analytics & Development: build and operationalize a Data Science and DevSecOps capability directly supporting the Global Security Office.Responsibilities will include development of custom threat detection, mitigation, and response capabilities and design and deployment of a data repository to support enhanced metrics and analytics.Qualifications: Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate with different teams and departments within the business. This includes the ability to communicate with direct leadership, cross-functional capabilities, and executive leadership. Exercising the ability to translate technical gaps to business risk is a critical communication required for this roleAbility to report gaps in a meaningful way that addresses main business risk and provides technical solutions in remediation is keyExperience working with auditors and regulators Experience in generating metrics tracking such items as return on investment (ROI), completion of scope, overall progress, timelinesAbility to communicate meaningful, articulate metrics to senior leadershipAbility to identify and resolve roadblocks that may disrupt schedules or objectives Understanding of patch management practices Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience with cloud technologies, specifically AWSExperience working with Windows and Linux operating systemsFamiliar with government security standards and regulations including GLBA, SOX, PCI, GDPRExperience conducting vulnerability risk assessmentsFamiliar with various security architectures and methodologies (Defense in Depth, Kill-Chain, NIST, Critical Controls, OWASP, etc.)Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related experience required -5 - 10 years working in Security Operations, Incident Response, Red Team, Vulnerability Management, or a similar role3 - 5 years leading teams of cybersecurity professionals 2021 SVB Financial Group.
