We are looking for a Chief Adminsitrave Officer (CAO) Site Director The successful candidate will report directly to Northern Trust's Global Services Executive, the CAO Site Director will serve as the primary liaison for LOB leaders and stakeholders on Tempe facility related activities, represent Northern Trust as the industry representative for local community affairs, and exercise strategic budget and administrative control over planning and project management for the site. This role will provide general leadership and guidance to subordinate managers within the site location and display a balanced, cross-functional perspective, liaising with LOB leadership to provide insight on site level metrics and regional trends. This individual -will also lead other strategic projects as directed by the business unit head. Major Duties: --- Provide general leadership and guidance to staff, fostering an environment that encourages employee participation, teamwork and communication by leading such activities as local DEI efforts, site level communications, and engagement activities
--- Represent Northern Trust in community activities with state and local officials, universities, key influencers and stakeholders; as well as industry groups and leadership forums
--- Partner with Talent Acquisition on the execution of local recruiting events and branding initiatives
--- Partner with LOB leaders on critical initiatives related to site management including return to office plans and future of work initiatives -
--- Deliver all infrastructure build out and act as a liaison between the Real Estate team and business stakeholders
--- Develop and maintain a site profile with accurate detail on floor utilization, floor mapping, and site amenities -
--- Support site incident management, resiliency planning and testing -
--- Support safety and security at the site; optimize building access for employees and guests and coordinate resources (food, water, shelter) in response to site incidents
--- Maintain risk management and compliance program activities for the site
--- Manage and oversee the financial plans for the site
--- Oversee and direct local leadership teams on any site related initiatives
--- Lead other strategic projects as directed by business unit head Knowledge/Skills --- Strong executive presence, excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to negotiate and collaborate -
--- Demonstrated ability to move multiple initiatives forward and build strong partnerships with multiple stakeholders in a fast paced, highly matrixed environment
--- Broad management experience with demonstrated ability to drive a positive employee experience
--- Independent thinker with ability to quickly grasp issues and creatively solve problems Experience Required
--- 10 or more years of financial industry experience and project management experience is required. Candidate should have a demonstrated successful track record, with increasing responsibility and previous managerial responsibilities. -
