Born of the renegade mentality established in the West with equal parts innovation and authenticity, Highnoon, a new Tempe, AZ based marketing agency, has our sights set on challenging the status quo of what a full-service marketing partner should be.

To do so, we're currently looking for a full time Account Director with 8+ years of marketing experience. This is a strategic role in account management that will primarily involve building client relationships, driving account strategy & planning (with a strong emphasis in digital marketing strategy), and team leadership and development. Our ideal candidate is a passionate marketer, preferably with past agency experience, who has a track record of managing all aspects of an account:

  • Crafting strategy, and implementing its execution
  • Leading internal teams, managing budgets, and resources
  • Driving performance
  • Building client relationships

    • Deliver flawless client service by maintaining exceptional relationships with key decisions makers
    • Account direction and support with setting client expectations, creating project plans, budgeting and forecasting, and overseeing quality and accuracy of deliverables
    • Drive value to clients through consulting delivery by building solid stakeholder/leader relationships and aligning them to achieve client goals
    • Help solve complex client management problems and other challenging issues
    • Ensure solution-oriented account management across all account teams through leading and coaching
    • Identify gaps in account performance and make recommendations for improvement
    • Manage a team of marketing professionals and oversee each individual's growth and development
    • Actively coach your team to encourage and support healthy growth and development
    • Drive business development with the proper information (creation of SOW), tools and subject matter expertise to sell engagements within accounts
    • Develop best-in-class marketing solutions for clients based on their goals and objectives
    • Work closely with Client Success department to ensure high levels of client satisfaction across all areas
    • Perform gap analyses to determine areas that need to be addressed based on current versus future state
    • Carry out hands-on strategic planning, using the analytics systems and tools - collaborating with fellow Insights team colleagues throughout
    • Assists in strategic workshops for clients and recommend strategic direction for engagements
    • Ability to own, compile and present strategic presentations that tell a meaningful story
    • Work closely with leadership team to help develop new processes to improve agency performance by focusing on performance improvement and utilization
    • Support recruiting & onboarding of new employees---
    • Help advise and mentor other account team members
    • Work with research teams to direct qualitative and quantitative research as needed
    • Engage and consult leaders of cross-functional teams throughout the agency as needed
    • Assistance with research and proposals for new business development as necessary
    • Work beyond departments and roles to develop business changing ideas and programs

      • 8+ years of marketing experience (working with cross-functional teams is a plus)
      • Bachelors degree in business or marketing related field
      • A proven track record in leading marketing teams and managing accounts
      • Ability to "connect-the-dots" for both clients and internal teams in a clear and easy-to-understand manner
      • Strong analytical skills and business and marketing acumen are a must
      • Executive presence and confidence working with clients at senior VP, C-suite and/or executive steering committee levels
      • Excellent writing and grammatical skills; articulate when speaking and presenting---
      • Persuasive storytelling ability
      • Ability to work both independently and in a cross-functional team environment
      • Play a role in supporting key client deliverables and ensure that projects are completed on time and on budget
      • Owns assigned work and understands the correlation with project outcomes
      • Ability to coach, mentor and develop team in healthy and measurable way using real-world scenarios to guide development
      • Takes initiative to innovate and solve problems without direct supervision and/or direction
      • Works on several customer projects at the same time, and must have the ability to constantly shift gears, solve problems, synthesize ideas, and listen to changing needs
      • Embraces thought-leadership by staying up-to-date on industry news, technology trends and best practices
      • Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Microsoft Office product suite
