Account Manager, Benefits (This is not a sales role!)

eBacon is a software company that focuses on certified payroll and fringe benefit management for the construction industry. Our software solutions combine time tracking, fringe management, payroll, and certified reporting, helping contractors and subcontractors avoid risk and become more profitable.

We design and develop our software and applications. Since we have our own advanced in-house development team, we can rapidly respond to the market's needs. Allowing us to create unique products that solve real-world problems.

We are looking for a strong Benefits Account Manager to join our amazing team. This person will support the day-to-day administration of our client benefit plans; health, dental, vision, life, disability, HSA, FSA, and supplemental plans. They will provide analytical and technical support, as well as deliver excellent customer service to our clients and their employees.

Key Responsibilities
Serves as liaison between client companies/employees and plan carriers
Manages complete client renewal process from plan analysis and selection through open enrollment
Advises clients companies on benefit plan and contribution strategies
High volume processing of benefit enrollments, terminations, changes/qualifying events, COBRA,

and claims resolution for all plan levels
Provides daily customer service support and problem resolution to clients/employees
Investigates discrepancies and provides information in unique and time sensitive situations
Eligibility tracking
HSA and FSA maintenance
Assist accounting with reconciliation of billing discrepancies
Owns client request from start to finish
Familiarity with ACA compliance regulations
Process requests with timeliness and accuracy
Prepares materials such as benefit packets and rate sheets for new client enrollment and plan

renewals
Performs plan audits
Special projects as assigned

Requirements
2-4 years' experience in benefit administration *(Insurance Broker Industry)*
4+ years of demonstrated customer service experience working with a wide variety of people,

exhibiting a high level of problem solving skills
Strong analytical skills and a thorough knowledge of plan designs
Must be extremely detail oriented
Must be able to manage time well; ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize
Superior organizational skills
Excellent communication skills - both written and oral
Team work ethic
Thrives in a fast pace, growing environment
Technically savvy

Preferences
Life & Health license in Arizona
SQL experience a +
Brokerage support

Employee Type : Full-Time
