RESPONSIBILITIES Kforce has a client, Growing company is seeking an Engineering Program Manager in Tempe, AZ. Summary We are working directly with the Hiring Manager. The Strategic Program Manager works under the direction of the VP of Business Process Improvement and PMO and will be assigned to manage an integration program consisting of a complex set of interrelated projects to achieve the overall strategic initiative of combining two business units. Future assignments may include programs in support of external mergers acquisitions and manufacturing footprint optimization. The Strategic Program Manager will be assigned to very strategic projects within the company and be called upon to make presentations on status of the projects to the Executive leadership team. Summary Manage and oversee complex strategic level programs in support of MA integrations in a manufacturing environment Coordinate workstream activities in support of sales and operations integration, shared services functions integration, and brand alignment Operations integration activities may include expansion of facility and operational capacity and other similar footprint related efforts Role includes projects such as acquisition strategy in addition to when the merger project is under control, i.e, move a product line from one country to another country Manage multiple projects concurrently Develop work breakdown structure, timelines, budgets, resource plans for the program across the multiple projects Track and report status of programs and projects, including projects REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree MBA or equivalent work experience 7-10 years of programproject management experience including large, complex, cross functional, and international projects 7-10 years of Program Management in a PMO framework is required - managing the work, has a project plan to ensure projects are on target, organizing work streams, processes (may not see on resumes) Experience in participating on and managing projects in a manufacturing environment preferred, e.g. plant expansions, equipment installation, process improvement Experience managing capital projects of at least 1M budget preferred strong organizational change management experience, as well as footprintmanufacturing experience Experience working in Electro-Mechanical environments is preferred Experience in leading program management of successful MA integration activities Able to manage ProgramProjects using defined management methodologies, tools, and governance Experience managing large, complex and cross functional projects Strong bias for action and commitment to meeting deliverables in tight timeframes Able to provide support to project managers and projects Process focused and able to influence without direct authority Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, MS Project Vision Ability to explain solutionstrade-offs and the business impact to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner Kforce is an Equal OpportunityAffirmative Action Employer.
