Job Description Job Description Responsibilities Create detailed manufacturing work instructions for mechanical assemblies. Develop process improvements and best practices for mechanical assembly utilization. Collaborate with the design engineering team to provide input on manufacturing processes and cost reduction. Work on the production floor with operators to ensure efficient manufacturing processes. Create CAD drawings in Solidworks for tooling and various products. Additional Skills & Qualifications BS degree in technical discipline or equivalent training and experience. Knowledge of machining/metal working processes, molding, casting, plating, and general fabrication/assembly in a mid-to-high volume environment. Perform analysis that relies on Quality and Manufacturing principles, including process management, statistical analysis, and human factors. Perform the limited fabrication and assembly (hands-on) of new and modified designs, define clear work instructions, perform inspection and/or assessment tasks, and to design/supply the required tooling for error-free fabrication and assembly. Strong communication/facilitation skills, both verbal and written; professional demeanor and the ability to successfully interface with all levels of personnel, both internally as well as with our customers/suppliers. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glendale, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
