Job Description As a Production Operator, you will be responsible
for studying blueprints and specifications to determine dimensions
and tolerances of finished work pieces. You will calculate and set
controls to regulate machining factors such as coolant flow and
depth of cut, enter commands to retrieve, input, and edit
computerized machine control parameters, and machine and mount
fixturing for all production runs. Additionally, you will set
machine positioning for part production, assemble, measure, and
load tooling for subsequent operations into the tool-changers.
Responsibilities Start and observe machine operation to detect
malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjust machine
controls or control parameters as required. Use micrometers,
calipers, depth gauges, and other precision measuring devices to
confirm part geometry meets tolerance specifications. Confer with
production operators, programmers, or others to resolve machining
problems. Assemble and preset tooling for next operation during
automated cycle to reduce machine downtime. Maintain, clean, and
lubricate machines as required. Essential Skills Understanding of
CNC Milling machining (6 months). Ability to use calipers and
micrometers to take measurements. Hold tolerances of /- .002.
Experience with CNC mill operations, not lathe. Ability to set
up/change tools and understand basic codes. Additional Skills &
Qualifications Experience with four types of Milling machines:
Kitamura, Brothers, Haas, GenMil. Familiarity with precision
measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers. Why Work Here?

machine shop specializing in aerospace. The weekend shift hours are
from 6 am to 6:30 pm, Friday to Sunday, with an optional Monday
shift from 6 am to 10 am. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to
Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay
range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility

classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to
