Job Description:
Innovate to solve the world's most important challengesBe the
leader of a team
assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance
for multiple
parallel projects, working closely with Project Engineers from
other groups and
the Program Managers. --You will partner
with the technical resource managers, assist with staffing, and be
the primary focal
for program cost, schedule, and technical issue coordination and
escalation. --You will lead prioritization of work packages,
design goals and objectives, and drive overall program
performance.---- The Platforms Center-of-Excellent
Engineering team includes diverse Software, Electrical, Mechanical,
and
FPGA/ASIC teams and you will coordinate all of them with our
customer programs.Key Responsibilities
Project planning, status, execution,
and escalationDrive clear communications between Technical
leadersOptimize the team through procedural improvements and
automationsDriving HW/SW quotation estimate efforts and
approvalsFacilitating various teams to solutions and agreementDrive
and improve project engineering practices for Hardware & Software
groupsProcess champion:-- project-specific operating systems and
larger reuse and multi-project considerationsMentoring junior
engineersU.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS Due to compliance with U.S.

Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent
resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and
regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as,

in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to
obtain an export authorizationWE VALUE
- Business acumen - knowledge of current and emerging practices,
methods, and information relating to discipline and application,
within Aero and the larger industry
- Diverse teaming and collaboration/facilitation skills
- Champion for continuous Project Engineering skill development
and support staffing/training
- Trusted Advisor relationship with Customers
- Persuade to influence others to accept new concepts, practices,
deploy new approaches
- Significant experience in engineering, especially familiarity
with Platform Hardware/Software processes and practices
- Familiarity with Space and Defense project management and
secure practices
- Global workforce and virtual teaming expertiseAdditional
