        This position provides Spot students with learning assistance, digital skills development and tutoring for Spot 127 projects. Assists students in the review and completion of assignments across digital media platforms.

        Essential Functions

        30% - Coordinates and provides learning assistance, skills development and tutoring for specific digital media disciplines
        30% - Assists students in the review and completion of Spot 127 assignments, including design, creation and execution of a variety of digital formats
        20% - Coordinates and assists students with digital equipment, computer procedures and software in producing assignments. This includes operational aspects of digital production tools and production facilities
        20% - Troubleshooting and evaluating equipment and software

        Minimum Qualifications

        High School Diploma or GED and two years of experience providing or assisting students with learning, skills development and tutoring in field of assignment OR Associate's Degree.

        There is no substitution or equivalency allowable for the High School Diploma or GED.

        OR

        An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered

        Desired Qualifications

        A. One (1) year of experience training and guiding youth programs
        B. One (1) year of digital and multimedia experience, including digital tools
        C. One (1) year experience in presentation skills, including video or audio or live performance

        Special Working Conditions

        Possession of a valid State of Arizona Class D driver's license is required; must meet minimum standards regarding driving: http://www.maricopa.edu/legal/rmi/vehicle.htm#requirements . Travel to campus during interview/selection process will be at candidate's own expense. Will be required to travel or be assigned to all MCCCD locations . May require numerous evenings or weekends . May require prolonged periods of viewing a computer screen. May be required to lift or carry up to 25 lbs
