Job Description:

Our client, a leader in the Electric Vehicles (EV) space, is seeking a Product Test Engineer to join their all-star engineering team. This position will be responsible for performing root-cause analysis, setting Quality Assurance (QA) metrics, testing standards, automating test cases, and defining corrective actions.
Responsibilities:Product Testing

• Design, develop and execute automation scripts for validating product features
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test procedures and documentations
• Execute, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities with internal teams and external vendors
• Identify, record, document firmware bugs through JIRA or similar platform
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved Testing Lab
  • Research and facilitate equipment and supplies required for the testing lab(s)
  • Support overseas/offsite teams in remote product testing activities
  • Encourage innovative concepts and methods for advance testing procedures
    Product Development
    • Provide feedback to the Product & firmware development team on new and existing product features Project Management
      • Demonstrate technical expertise in scheduling, tracking, status reports, and effective problem solving to stay ahead of project timelines
        Requirements:
        • Bachelor's in engineering, preferred emphasis in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical or Aerospace
        • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in product testing that includes mechanical and firmware/software
        • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in implementing testing procedure for product launches & refinemen
        • Experience working in team environment and with external vendors
        • Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance (QA) methodologies, tools, and processes
        • Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
        • Knowledge of coding languages C, C++, Python, HTML, CSS, XML, Java, or equivalent is beneficial
        • Knowledge and experience in Arduino, Raspberry Pi, MATLAB, oscilloscopes is a plus
        • Experience working of operating systems Windows, iOS or Ubuntu
        • Possess a strong understanding of technical methods, principles and systems for testing
        • Strong oral, written and listening communication skills.
        • Prior experience in the electric vehicle industry, consumer electronics, automotive or energy industry is a plus
        • Project management certifications is a plus
