Job Description Job Description Senior Electrical Estimator Senior Electrical Estimator Position Overview We are seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating project costs, preparing detailed estimates, and providing analytical insights to support project bids. This role is crucial for ensuring the profitability and success of our electrical construction projects. Key Responsibilities - Prepare accurate and detailed electrical estimates for various projects. - Review project plans and specifications to identify scope and requirements. - Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs to develop comprehensive bid packages. - Collaborate with project managers and engineers to clarify project specifications and requirements. - Maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers for accurate pricing and proposal submissions. - Monitor and update project costs and estimates throughout the project's lifecycle. - Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate potential cost overruns. Qualifications - Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical estimating within the construction industry. - Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and construction practices. - Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
