In this role, your primary responsibility will be to manage a team of Media professionals, as well as drive strategic initiatives and planning efforts for the Highnoon Media team.

Highnoon is seeking a Director of Digital Media to lead our talented Media team. In this role you will demonstrate your expertise of all digital media platforms, show your passion for driving meaningful results for Clients, help to establish and refine Media related processes and have the ability to work in both a client facing capacity, as well as cross functionally with other team leads. You'll help the team to uncover insights and define strategies to help launch campaigns and other messaging solutions through digital and traditional platforms. You'll oversee all day-to-day activity within the Media department to ensure the desired performance is achieved across all accounts.

Requirements

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Helping Clients to understand Highnoon's Media recommendations, and the data and strategy that support our recommendations
  • 60% of the role will be dedicated to:
    • Working on new client strategy, research, and pitches/proposals
    • Working with media managers to develop client media plans
    • Working with senior account team members and media team members to take campaigns to the next level strategically and in performance realization
    • Managing team personnel for growth and education
    • Developing uniform processes across the department and documenting processes to ensure scalability and uniformity
    • Assisting in all annual and strategic planning efforts for our Clients
    • 40% of the role will be dedicated to supporting the team in various channels:
      • Paid Search
      • Display
      • Paid Social
      • Video
      • Programmatic
      • OTT
      • Direct Buy
      • Other digital channels/formats
      • The ability to write, create, and present media plans and proposals to Clients, both ad hoc and on all annual planning efforts
      • Evaluate Media platforms and tools that should be considered for Client Media plans
      • Ensure that campaign strategies and goals align with the Client's marketing and media objectives
      • Provide guidance to the team on developing KPI targets
      • Ability to audit digital platforms for new and existing work for the Agency
      • Analyze performance, develop hypotheses and work with the campaign managers to test recommendations, including platform tests, interest targeting, spend scaling, etc.
      • Provide oversight of monthly Media reporting, and have the ability to help glean insights from monthly activity to help provide optimizations and areas of opportunity for each account
      • Ability to answer questions for team members, have weekly/monthly 1:1 meetings, provide goals for the department and individuals, and help mentor and train junior staff members
      • Participate in monthly leadership meetings, with the ability to communicate updates from your department and any future needs for the staff

          • Positive can-do attitude REQUIREMENTS
            • 5-7 years of relevant digital marketing or advertising experience in Media, with at least 2 years working Agency side
            • Working knowledge and/or expertise in Performance Digital Marketing is a huge plus
            • Experience managing team members to excellence
            • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (or comparable work experience equivalency)
            • Proficient in Microsoft Office360 suite of tools
            • General broad knowledge of marketing, media and advertising is a must
            • Familiarity with any Media related tools or project management platforms is a plus
            • Must be comfortable in spreadsheets and doing analysis
            • Proactive learner with strong ownership skills; ability to manage multiple projects at once
            • Approaches work with a sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize your efforts as needed
