Job Description Clinical Office Supervisor Are you ready to join a high energy, fast growing, and driven Renal Practice? Join Southwest Kidney Institute!Southwest Kidney Institute is seeking a Clinic Office Supervisor to join its fast growing and dynamic team! The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, team collaboration focused, and have patient care at the heart of all decision making. This position is responsible for coordinating the daily operations of the practice, which includes administrative and clinical services. Role SummaryEssential Responsibilities:

  • Directs, coordinates, and manages all administrative and clinical services for one or more physician practice sites.
  • Establishes work procedures and standards to improve efficiency and effective of office operations.
  • Ongoing, identifies opportunities to improve operational processes.
  • Works with Manager to meet/exceed operating budget for office site(s).
  • Oversees office procedures to ensure scheduling and patient follow up activities, maintain full provider schedules.
  • Monitors and audits all front office activities to ensure registration accuracy and successful collections.
  • Ensures that daily clinical activities are satisfactorily completed.
  • Understands and utilizes regularly scheduled and/or ad hoc narrative statistical and/or other reports to illustrate practice operational and financial practice performance.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in the use of EMR and services as a resource for staff and providers. Provides staff direction to maintain dashboard related activities at defined levels of acceptability.
  • Creates a patient friendly office environment. Ensures high level of patient satisfaction as measured by surveys.
  • Interviews for staff replacements, coaches and counsels employees, oversees time and attendance/payroll activities. Provides site orientation for new staff members. Provides on-going training for staff based on job functions.
  • Participates in the implementation, monitoring and determination of compliance with policy and procedures.
  • Serves as the facility representative for patients, families, visiting physicians and other medical practice representative.
  • **Travel to multiple locations in Phoenix metropolitan area is required as needed.** Education/Experience Requirements:
    • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in medical office operations.
    • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent customer service skills, the ability to speak clearly and concisely in a friendly and helpful manner and in a way that projects professionalism and confidence.
    • Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality regulations.
    • Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance and government payer regulations and other third party requirements.
