Job Description
Summary/Objective
The Middle Office Advisors will be responsible for liaising between the front office and operations teams. Work with the front office to understand and interpret key deal terms for all loan types that SVB offers to ensure the accurate booking and funding of all loans.
Essential Functions


  • Loan Onboarding/QC Packages
  • Task oriented items- Research requests; interest calculations; etc.
  • Provides professional communication with internal clients
  • Participates in meetings, trainings, and other duties as assigned by management

    Decisions
    Low impact. Basic judgement based on standard practices and procedures. Works with MOA 2/3 and/or Supervisor for more complex decision impacts. Works within and follows established practices and procedures for resolving issues and completing tasks
    Knowledge
    Knowledge of basic banking policies and procedures

      Required Education and Experience

      • High School Diploma or Equivalency PLUS Bachelor's degree OR 1-2 years of related professional experience (banking/financial services industry or customer service) OR 3-4 years of overall experience

        Preferred Education and Experience

        • Experience in a production and or operational environment specifically within Financial Services or Banking Environment
        • Knowledge of financial services and products.

          Travel
          No travel is expected for this position
          Physical Demands
          The employee must have the ability to use a computer keyboard, mouse, calculator, copier/fax machine, scanner and telephone. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. Employee must have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: reviewing and analyzing information; transcribing; and/or viewing a computer screen. Employee may be required to make quick decisions as to when to escalate or directly address a situation, as well as handle the stress of such situations. The work environment is indoors with a majority of time spent sitting at a desk.
