About the team and position
Carvana is looking for an enthusiastic, supremely organized, and welcoming individual to join our team as the Office Operations Coordinator. The Office Operations Coordinator will be responsible for handling the front office day-to-day operations while also providing administrative support to various departments within the organization.

With visibility at the front of the office, you will play a key role in making a lasting impression to all of our employees, interviewees, and other visitors. You will be the bright and smiling face people look forward to seeing each day! Most importantly, you will see your assistance have an immediate, tangible impact every day in a well-funded and rapidly growing company.

What you'll be doing
Maintain the flow of the reception space, making certain to be aware of the scheduled arrival of guests, vendors, and interviewees--- and making them feel welcome when they get here.
Maintain an organized and clean front desk work space. Growing up, you probably had the most organized, cleanest desk in school. After all, you can never have too many colored post-it notes.
Assist in managing and maintaining the office supply inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level, placing and expediting orders for supplies.
Support front office which includes answering incoming calls, accepting and delivering packages and mail, providing access badges to vendors and guests.
Provide daily office communication with updates to our employees on parking, food trucks, and other perks that keep them productive.
Support the execution of fun and creative events for our HQ's.
Assist in providing a clean, beautiful and harmonious work environment by escalating and communicating any major facility/people concerns directly to the Property Operations team or any other necessary department.
Participate in project work as required
Perform other duties as a collaborative team member of a dynamic, cross-functional startup team, as needed.
Assist the Response Team by ensuring all employees take their temperature when coming into the office as well as confirming that they are COVID symptom free.

***Please note that this is an in-office position and would require someone to be local to Arizona and the Phoenix area. Remote work is not available.***

What you should have
1-3 years experience in an office ops setting or related role
A high school diploma, Bachelor's degree preferred.
Preferably have experience using Microsoft Outlook and Google Suite, but not required.

It would be great if you also had
Experience with Jira
You enjoy keeping things neat and organized, all while remaining upbeat and positive.
You have enthusiasm and energy to contribute, and thrive in a rapidly growing start-up atmosphere where roles continually adapt as the company evolves.
You are not afraid to approach any level of employee, even if they have a 'C' in front of their title!
