Tax Accountant Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for various accounting tasks & financial analysis
Prepare & analyze financial statements
Assist in preparation and review of tax returns for individuals, corporations and partnerships
Perform bank reconciliations and maintain general ledgers
Assist clients in understanding financial data and offering valuable insights
Strategy recommendation
Stay up to date on latest tax laws

Tax Accountant Job Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance
At least 1 year of industry experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & other tax softwares
Working GAAP experience
CPA or EA preferred but not required
Experience working with financial statements, general ledgers & bank reconciliations
