This individual will be responsible for managing the financial records of multiple entities, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and providing financial insights to our CEO.Responsibilities:Manage the company's financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledgerEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws, including preparation and filing of tax returnsPrepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statementsAnalyze financial data to provide insights to business leaders and support strategic decision-makingAssist with budget preparation and forecastingDevelop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure financial stability and accuracyMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactionsWork with external auditors to ensure compliance with accounting standards and best practicesMonitor and report on the company's financial performance, including variances from budget and forecastsProvide guidance and training to other staff members on financial procedures and best practicesRequirements:Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, including tax accounting experienceStrong knowledge of local, state, and federal tax lawsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAttention to detail and accuracyStrong communication skills, both written and verbalProficiency QuickBooks accounting softwareAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
