Senior Payroll Analyst

Global Cyber Security company is seeking an experienced team of
professionals with international payroll currently processing
biweekly and semimonthly payrolls for 1300 employees in US and
Canada, with associated accounting and tax reporting.

This is a direct hire position with a salary range of $75,000 -
85,000 based on experience. This position is a Hybrid position

Responsibilities
- Processing of Company's payrolls through 3rd party vendor, ADP
GlobalView and ADP Streamline, in an outsource arrangement
- Submit payroll, pre/post review, prepare funding requests for
payroll and tax expenses
- Generate, format and upload Severance and One Time Bonus
payments for weekly special transmissions
- Prepare monthly approvals and deliver outputs for
Accounting
- Provide direct customer service to employees, internal/external
business partners with high quality, professional and timely
responses.
- First level helpdesk for all Payroll Americas
helpdesk/SupportNow tickets
- Provide support for statutory/regulatory and tax audits by
compiling required payroll information.
- Apply Company policies and procedures as they relate to payroll
in specific countries, states
- Review and resolve issues for Garnishments, LOA and Benefit
deduction discrepancies
- First level helpdesk for all Garnishment and LOA
issues
- Conduct Pre-Payroll audits
- Review and transmit Commission, Stock, One Time Bonus,
Severance and Misc_Adjustment files to be processed via SFTP secure
server
- Validate, fund and resolve issues with 401K contribution
outbound integration files
- Conduct annual 401K audit of Payroll contributions and
funding
- First level response for Payroll Americas shared
mailbox
- Conduct Workers Compensation Audit
- Participate in the monthly, quarterly, annual, audit process
critical to the operation of the unit
- Work with ADP to troubleshoot and resolve moderate to complex
discrepancies and open items
- Liaison between Payroll and Benefits departments to resolve
and/or correct discrepancies
- Manage Political Action setups
- Manage Executive NQDC deferred income contributions on an
annual and fiscal year basis
- Work with employees, ADP and various agencies to troubleshoot
and resolve all Garnishment and LOA issues
- Maintain and report Expat records for US employees on
assignment: pay allowances, special tax flag setups, Hypo tax, TEQ
payments/deductions
- Validate and Fund 401K contributions, including Acquisition
Loan and Exec NQDC
- Work with ADP to update employee records with prior employer
401K contribution information and conduct audits to adhere to IRS
annual limits
- Prepare and fund CA-VDI payments & contributions via wire
transfer requests
- Collect and forward electronic garnishments received to
ADP
- Receive, review, format and upload Stock files to be sent to
ADP
- Receive, review, format and upload post US Commission files to
be sent to ADP
- Payroll process improvement;
- Apply country and state specific statutory
requirements
- Meet local payroll compliance requirements
- Responsible for semi-annual and annual 401K Audits
- Responsible for SOX and Funding compliance and control audits
on a weekly, semi-monthly basis.
- Responsible for annual/quarterly Stock and One Time Bonus
files
- Quarterly and year-end review audits payrolls
- Audit local tax obligations for employees with multi state
withholding and filings
- Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly labor statistical
information to various government agencies
- Provide analysis and ad-hoc reports to support business
partners
- Coordinate, submit and return to requestor confidential
documents
- Complete VOE requests for LOA payments, related to loss of
income cases
- Collect and obtain notary signatures for garnishments received
and Fed Ex to ADP
- Coordinate stop pay and reissue escheated checks with employees
who respond to payroll message
- Support and complete earnings verification requests for LTD

Qualifications and experience
-
- Minimum of 7 yrs. experience in payroll, including stock
transactions
- Processing of monthly payrolls through an outsourced
arrangement (ADP GlobalView, ADP Streamline)
- Advanced Excel ability required
- Effective employee and third party query handling
experience
- Track record of support in payroll process improvement
initiatives and implementations
- Basic payroll accounting experience
- Integrations and/or HR data feed experience an
advantage
- Solid analytic and problem-solving ability
- Able to determine root cause and fully resolve issues
